Petition to Indian Government to declare Pakistan a Terrorist Country.

The latest attack by Pakistani backed terrorists on Indian pilgrims (Amarnath Yatri's) has outraged Indians and other communities around the world. It is time to accept the reality that Pakistan has been providing a safe haven for terrorists, therefore to designate it for what it is a state-sponsor of terrorism.

It is shocking that after almost three decades of being victims of terrorism, Indians still feel it in their hearts to befriend Pakistanis.
Almost 30 years of violent hostility, thousands of soldiers martyred and more or less the same amount of people killed, injured or families just destroyed and still we think a hundred times before calling Pakistan a terrorist state. In the name of trade, in the name of culture, in the name of humanity… we have sacrificed our self-respect, our dignity to maintain a relationship with Pakistan. Indians for decades have been subjected to the lies, deceit and the violence of a nation whose global claim to fame has been as the biggest exporter of terrorism.

One of the biggest and the deadliest terror stars of the world have their roots in Pakistan. It may be the killer of American journalist Daniel Pearl, 26/11 mastermind Osama Bin Laden, founder of Jaish-e-Mohammad Azhar Masood or India’s very own Dawood Ibrahim or the LeT chief Hafeez Saeed, all have been natured and nurtured on the fertile land of Pakistan. Still we think hundreds of times before declaring Pakistan a terrorist state.

In the US, US Congressman Ted Poe, Chairman of House Subcommittee on Terrorism, along with Congressman Dana Rohrabacher of the Democratic Party, who is a ranking member of the influential Congressional Committee on terrorism recently introduced the ‘Pakistan State Sponsor of Terrorism Designation Act’ (HR 6069). They expressed concerns about Pakistan being an untrustworthy ally and alleged that Islamabad has also aided and abetted enemies of the US for years. From harbouring Osama bin Laden to its cozy relationship with the Haqqani network, US Congressmen stated that there is more than enough evidence to determine that Pakistan is sponsoring terrorism.

The last time such a move to designate Pakistan a terrorist state was taken in 1993 after the Mumbai serial blasts, allegedly engineered by Pakistan. That terror attack killed 259 people.
According To The fourth edition of Global Terrorism Index was published in November 2016 which covered analysis of 163 countries Pakistan is at 4th position.

Political parties must come together and pass a Bill declaring Pakistan as a terror state. Such a legislation has already been proposed by MP Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

So I kindly request to sign the petition As Its time for the world community represented by the Indian Government to hold Pakistan accountable by declaring it a terrorist Country.
