Stop Grading kids

These days very small kids are learning the rigours of unhealthy competition in all spehers of their daily lives. And it comes at a price of losing the small joys of life, that they should be enjoying at the tender ages. Right from admission procedure for nursery to college, the kids these days are forced by parents, teachers, relatives and friends to just keep on excelling and scoring better and better, without realizing that its failure that is the stepping stone to success. Succeeding all the time never made a man of character. We have to top comparing our kids with that kid next-door who scored better in the 'unit test'. The request goes to school boards in particular that grading system for small kids at least till primary section should be done away with. As long as there will be marks, grades and ranks to be scored, the kids will be forced by everyone around them to excel in academics. The pressure of performing all the time is robbing the whole generation of the pleasure of childhood and forcing them to grow faster and in a not-so-well manner.
