Regulatory Body for Education Sector

Union HRD ministry has done nothing much good in the education sector, in all it's years of existence. It has just kept the existing systems alive and did not pioneer in either bettering the existing systems or creating new ones.

And most of the measures HRD has ever taken have been populistic measures, based on vote-bank politics. HRD over time has made sure that all genuine ways of work in the education system remains Un-sustainable, except bureaucratic procedures. Please support this petition if you feel that supervising powers of HRD ministry over educational institutions should be revoked.

Instead, India will be better off with a separate regulartory body. We have seen previously the sectors of insurance and telecommunications benefit from the same decisions.
