SUB:SEEKING THE INSPIRING NAMES FOR THE EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS.
Sir,
My name is Ramesh,having done M.A(Eng) working as an English Lecturer for a college in our area.
My prime concern is to criticise the Schools,Colleges and Other Educational Institutions having the names of castes and some religions.Now a days most of the Institutions are giving the caste provoking names to their institutions.
Eg; Rao's My Techno Schools,Reddy's Colleges and many more.
School is a place where the student starts knowing about the society,environment and the life.With having fresh mind the children enter into the schools in order to get awared of the life,society and this world.But by putiing some caste provoking names to the institutions the organisations are making the biggest mistake.Cutiing the long story short in a school where a student can get the awareness is being inspired to support the caste system.
For instance a 6yr old child is joined to Rao"s My Techno School.He goes to school regularly to have some education.May be he won't think about the name of school until he grows upto some age,but one day he might ask his/her parents a question. WHAT IS THE MEANING OF RAO'S?
Then what will be the answer of the mother and how can she manage the situation? Does she have to tell him to support the caste system by telling him the meaning of the RAO's? or Does she have to aware him towards the truth by condemning the caste system?
If she condemns the system then the children might ask one more question WHY DO WE HAVE THE CASTE SUPPORTING NAME FOR OUR SCHOOL,WHEN THERE IS NO CASTE SYSTEM EXISTING? The mother will be helpless then.Inspite of being made the future citizen of India,the children in such schools are encourages towards supporting the caste system even from the earlier ages.Then how come they become the future citizens of India.
According to AMBEDKAR the Education is to make students awared towards an India without caste,religion and kind of differences.The students are misdirected towards supporting the evil thins like caste system insted of being awared towards buiding the Inspiring India.
Once the caste system is embedded into the little minds who can destroy the evil? It will be a difficult task
If a school is given the name of NEWTON the chiild might get inspired by knowing abut his intellectual mind. If the BAGAT SINGH then the student might become a leader but in contradiction the schools have the names of the castes and some evils.
Finally I strongly condemn the schools having the names of castes and I am going to hold firm protest against it.I am inclined not to take rest until I live upto my ambition.I want the management of the educational institutions to change the names of the schools into some inspiring names.
Eventually I am well decided to the court to make petetion and hoping that you could help me out in making this petetion reached to the courts.
