Several Universities running the courses in Distance Mode. In distance and regular mode so many students not getting 60 percentage of Marks in Post graduation.

UGC fixed the Norms for studying Mphil and Phd 50 percentage for sc st and 55 for OC and BC.

if any SC ST candidate not having 50 percentage he also unable to go further Mphil and Phd.

By this rule so many poor students unable to appear the Mphil and Phd because by distance education they getting only 50 percentage of marks. By this reason OC and BC, SC, ST castes students not able to study MPhil or Phd and no use to their Post Graduation certificates

The main demand to put the minimum Eligibility to appear Mphil and Phd 50 Percentage and 45 for SC and ST
