Petitioning: Government

Petitioner: Petition Voice started on March 26, 2009

The 'only-vote-bank-matters-at-the-end-of-the-day' mentality of almost all Indian governments after independence has imbedded popular measures. While election time freebies were a one time thing in the past, but these days parties are giving out free ration, clothes, and consumer goods like TVs, etc.

This is an outright waste of tax payers money by political parties who somehow manage to come to power even after indulging in day-light theft of common man's hard earned money. This doling out of freebies should stop and government is there to serve us in ways better than incentives to vote for them.

Support this petition to criticise political parties for their cheap publicity stunts as well as to request them to indulge in better things than giving gifts to supporters.
