Save Bangalore Roads through Privatization!

Honorable Chief Minister,

We would like to inform you about the plight every Bangalorean suffers daily while travelling through the non-existent roads in the city. Broken backs and accidents are quite common now and hospitals with attest this fact with real numbers.

Every day some patch work occurs on these roads which are really substandard and degrade very easily with a few drops of rain. The primary reason is that there is no accountability of the contractors to whom these jobs are allocated. We are sure that you will be aware of the fact that how these things work.

We would like you to consider a suggestion of employing a large constructor like L&T to do all the roads in the city along with an appropriate maintenance contract. This should be linked to a phased payment mechanism which ensures timely uptake of roads and proper accountability.
