Remove accused under P.N.D.T. from commitee to modify the P.N.D.T act

Respected Sir,

This is regarding the committee formed to review and revise the P.N.D.T act to make it more strong in order to decrease the incidences of female foeticides.

Dr. Harsh Mahajan is one of the members of two committees set up - i.e. the committee to review and amend the P.N.D.T. act and the committee formed to review and amend the forms required to be maintained under the act.
Dr Harsh Mahajan is an accused in the case filed by Dr Mitu Khurana (www.mitukhurana.wordpress.com) as the sex determination was done in his clinic, and case is pending in court. Cognizance has already been taken in the case.

It is great possibility that he will misuse his position and will try to create loop holes. It is also Highly unethical and undesirable to include people accused under a law to allow them to make amendments to the law.

This is our sincere request that please delete his name from the PC-PNDT committees at least till the court delivers its verdict.
