The issue of Babli has been around betweeb Maharashtra & Andhra for some time and currently the issue is in the supreme court. There is a all party meeting invited by the Prime minister on the issue on 23 of July. The TDP MLA's wanted to view the site before meeting the PM in order to have a first hand information and they were arrested.
Following are the incedents that took place that clearly shows a violation of civil & human rights:
1. As Indians the MLA's can move freely in India. But they were not allowed to visit the Babli dam.
2. Being in judicial custody the MLA's were beaten up by the police to move to a different location.
3. The MLA's were'nt informed where they were being taken to on 19th July.
4. The maharashtra polica have tried to move the MLA's to an undisclosed location after 7:00 pm.
5. The former CM of Andhra Pradesh MR. Chandrababu Naidu has been illtreated by the police of Maharashtra.

If there is nothing illegal going at the site why is the Govt. not allowing the TDP MLA's to view the site.
All the points above are a clear vilation of civil & human rights and the Human Rights Commision should intervine and take action.
