By giving caste based incentives the government is itself differentiating between people based on the families they are born into! This is against the spirit of the constitution which holds everyone equal. The basis for reservation needs to be changed from caste based to economic-condition based. Those who have been less fortunate in getting support from their families because poor economic conditions of the family, can be given scholarships, fee-waivers, and free coaching to boost their academic skills.
