•Consider Audiologist and Speech Language pathologist as one of the important faculty when it is the matter of dealing with the patients with Hearing, Speech Language and Communication related disorder.
•Audiologist is not the professionals who sell the hearing aids rather we recommend and dispense them.
•Speech language pathologist is not the teachers who teach any subject but they are the one who are acquainted with the knowledge of handling the patients with speech, language and communication disorders.
•To be known as and to work as an Audiologist and Speech language Pathologist one required to have minimum bachelors degree in Audiology and speech language pathology (4 years degree course) from a recognized institute and University or Masters in Audiology and Speech language Pathology (2 years degree course after graduation) more so over individual should have registration from Rehabilitation council of India, New Delhi.
•Being a well-defined profession i.e. Audiology and Speech Language Pathology we the Bachelors, Masters and now and then Doctors (Ph.D. Audiology/Speech Pathology) from India would like to bring the fact to your notice that irrespective of authority, authenticity and qualification there are many other professionals working as an Audiologist and Speech Language Pathologist in India. they are not only spoiling the profession by providing half diagnosis or most of the times wrong diagnosis to the patients mostly the small innocent children and because of this they are receiving wrong line of treatment which is neither acceptable nor expected and very unhealthy.
•Through this letter we would like you to take a serious action against these trespassers or malpractitioners in India and save our field, and so our souls.
