DRUNK DRIVING HARMS NOT ONLY THOSE BEHIND THE WHEELS BUT ALSO THE CHANCE VICTIMS WHO COULD BE A HOMELESS SLEEPING ON PAVEMENT, A CHILD GOING TO SCHOOL OR RIDING A BICYCLE, A DEAR FRIEND OR A MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY..
IMPAIRMENT IS NOT DETERMINED BY THE TYPE OF DRINK, BUT RATHER BY THE AMOUNT OF ALCOHOL DRUNK OVER TIME.

THE LEVEL OF ALCOHOL IN THE BLOOD DETERMINES THE ACUTE EFFECTS PRODUCED. BLOOD ALCOHOL CONCENTRATION (MG/DL) AND ITS EFFECTS ARE DETAILED BELOW:
WITH BAC 80: NOISY, MOODY, IMPAIRED JUDGEMENT, IMPAIRED DRIVING ABILITY
WITH BAC B/W 100-200: BLURRED VISION, UNSTEADY GAIT, GROSS MOTOR IN-COORDINATION, SLURRED SPEECH, AGGRESSIVE, QUARRELSOME, TALKING LOUDLY
WITH BAC B/W 200-300: INABILITY TO REMEMBER THE EXPERIENCE, BLACKOUT
WITH BAC B/W 300-350: COMA
WITH BAC B/W 355-600: MAY LEAD TO DEATH
LEGAL PERMISSIBLE LIMIT AS PER MOTOR VEHICLE ACT IS 30 ML/100 MG (PERMITTED ONLY FOR MEDICAL REASONS).
