Interlink rivers

Water binds everyone like nothing else. NDA government started the project a few years ago, to cross-connect major rivers to solve the problem of scarcity of water for farming and drinking. It would have provided jobs, livelihood and business to lakhs of people. Israel having a similar system is hardly out of water for drinking and farming, even though the rainfall levels are quite low in the country. But eversince the governments have changed, the work on inter-linking has slowed down. Current government has not taken any keen interest into the project. We request, to whichever political party is in power, to speed up projects of public welfare. This is a golden chance to show the public that today's politicians can overcome petty political mileage and work for the greater good.
