Freeways to reduce traffic jams in Pune

There is extreme need of freeways in Pune city to eliminate traffic problem. Everyday new people are arriving in the city for job. And now city is so much crowded. Every one need to spend hours to travel just few kilometers. This is very much frustrating. Everybody wants to spend the evening with their family. Can we have some standards of traffic which foreign countries have. Ring road structure of freeways, limited modes of public transport, no parking on roads etc.
Common man living in the city face traffic problem everyday. And spends one day (collectively per week) in the traffic. We definitely need freeways and good road infrastructure.
