Out of my survey, findings and research that I had conducted on the topic of ‘Gender Biasness’, I am astonished with the results. I had expected this 21st century to be more of a place for open- minded people, who not only speak of recent cultures and latest advancements in technologies and thinking process, they are far behind in their mentality, or rather their way of analyzing an issue.
My survey had informants from all the age group people that had a minimum age limit of 18 years, but I had expected people to stand up for the cause of ‘Gender Biasness’, that is so much highly prevalent in India, but they seem to end this issue up only by giving a comment at the last of my questionnaire. Their answers were highly surprising, since they had a backdated thinking of ‘Men still dominated the society and its men who can lead up India’s economy more than women or transgender’.
For huge mass out there- the residents of India, who still have this thinking even at this advanced century, I would like to throw a question to them – “If men are supposed to increase India’s economy, then why are women and transgenders ever been given birth to? Is it just for the cause of giving birth and increasing the population, or showering blessings to a newly born child(in case of the transgenders)?”
I think there’s still a huge room for improvement of the thinking process of each and everybody out there. This wrong idea would not make India a developed country; it would lead to heavy loss of economy if all the three genders do not, or are rather not given the opportunity to work altogether towards the path of achievement and success.
