Delay taking place in delivery of Honda Activa

If we browse the internet we will find lakhs of complaint against delay in delivery of scooter. At the time of booking dealer will assure you number of day it will take for delivery. Once the scooter is booked they will say your booking is pending and the same is not yet been allotted to you. Where as if you pay extra you get it immmediately. My question is as to why the company HONDA come up with a criteria where a person can check online about the status of his booking. Accordingly customer will be aware of his status and he will not be taken for ride.

In my opinion its a good cause that can be taken up.
