Anganwadis for Rural Welfare

Anganwadis run by women volunteers has seen tremendous success in the past. Poor hygiene condition and widespread illiteracy among women particularly in rural India are among the prime causes of malnutrition among children in India. Education for basic women rights, organization of village folks for community work, pre-school education and day care of children, health education for village women, etc. are lots of facilities and advantages that Anganwadis can provide and promote. Central government is requested to put more efforts and resources intro spreading this concept to all villages of the country.
