Petitioner: THAKUR DHEERAJ SINGH started on February 27, 2018

The respect of women in Indian culture has been given great importance. There is a stanza in Sanskrit- 'Yasya Pujayanti Naryasta Tattra Ramante Deitya'. That is, where the worship of women is done, the deities reside there. But in the present circumstances, women are being insulted everywhere. By treating him as "the object of indulgence", the man is 'using' his way. This is a very worrying thing. But considering how to respect women, while keeping our culture, it is necessary to think about it.

To promote the honor of women in India, today it is absolutely necessary to declare a national mother by the Indian government like the Father of the Nation so that women can get their real honor in the country.

There will be a change in the sentiments of the people towards the respect of women when the Mother of Nation is declared. People will again see women with her actual respect. There will be a great deal of degradation in crimes such as tyranny, rape, dowry etc. against women.

Now the matter of the name of the national mother is revealed, the name of Rani Padmavati comes first in the country due to her "Jauhar" for Nation, cleverness, sacrifice, understanding etc. Also has tried to give brief information about her life in the following manner ...

Padmini, also known as "Padmavati", was a legendary 13th–14th century Indian queen (Rani). Several 16th-century texts mention her, of which the earliest source is Padmavat, an epic fictionalized poem written by Malik Muhammad Jayasi in 1540 CE. The Jayasi text describes her story as follows: Padmavati was an exceptionally beautiful princess of the Singhal kingdom (Sri Lanka). Ratan Sen, the Rajput ruler of Chittor Fort, heard about her beauty from a talking parrot named Hiraman. After an adventurous quest, he won her hand in marriage and brought her to Chittor. Alauddin Khalji, the Sultan of Delhi, also heard about her beauty, and laid siege to Chittor to obtain her. Many events occurred during the period of the siege, till the fort was finally taken. Meanwhile, Ratan Sen was killed in a duel with Devpal, the king of Kumbhalner, who was also enamoured with Padmavati's beauty. Before Alauddin Khalji could capture Chittor, Padmavati and her companions committed Jauhar (self-immolation) to protect their honour. After her sacrifice, the Rajput men died fighting on the battlefield.
