Demolish historic 1000 years old Jain temple in name of development?
Petitioning: To prevent our temple from being demolished by building an airport.

How do we expect development by destroying our own heritage? And this is as if we have shortage of land.
Rajasthan govt is planning to demolish Shri Digambar Jain Atishay Kshetra, Padampura. It is a 1000 years old temple.
Thousands of mosques are built illegally which come in road extension plan, yet authorities and govt never demolish them. You can see that in every city.
This Jain temple is not a new temple built by locals, it is an ancient temple.
Shouldn't Rajasthan govt find another place for new airport or shift the plan ahead of temple so that airport and temple, both exist??
You will find several mosques or Dargahs in the middle of the road in almost every city in India.
Somebody pls explain to us how do they help in development of the city like this?
