IELTS give a chance to reappear in low score module instead retaking entire test

Dear IELTS examination committee

Regards,

IELTS is becoming one of the most popular English ability checking test not only in India but the entire world. To fulfill the educational demand of various educational institutes across the world, students are giving this exam. Sometimes they are getting success in first attempt but on the other hands, large number of students are not able to achieve the target in first attempt and they have to reattempt the test again thus paying the fee for entire test.

This is where the scenario is changing, suppose a student has given a test and have scored 6.5 in Reading, 6 in writing, 6.5 in Listening and 5 in Speaking. Now the Speaking score will not let him/ her apply and the student has to retake exam. The exam is scheduled after a month.

The next time the score achieved is 5.5 in Reading, 5.5 in Listening, 5.5 in Speaking and 6 in Writing and the student is again unable to apply because now the overall will be 5.5.

Does it mean the student has forgotten how to Read in a month or how to write or how to listen.

Therefor, we are requesting that the Exam Committee should look at the issue and should give the student a chance to retake 1 or 2 modules in which the less score was achieved. It will be for the betterment of students and their future.

Thanks
Amrinder
