The current regulation regarding indian languages has bad consequences.

1. Students from weathly families learn English as mother tongue, a little bit HIndi and a little bit the state language (Malayalam, Telugu, etc.)

2. Poor students learn state language and almost no English nor Hindi.

3. Indian students loose their bond to their national heritage.

4. Students waste their time learning languages when they rather should learn Maths, Science, etc..

These languages will not help them in anyway, since the international lingua france is English already!

1. English shall be the national language of India

2. Every state shall have a strong mandate to teach the state language in speech and script as mother tongue. In Kerala that would be Malayalam, in Tamil Nadu that would be Tamil, etc..

3. No other language shall be tought in schools before college.

4. Every sign (streets, buildings, etc.) shall be written in state language in big letters and English in small letters

5. Every law shall be released bilingual.

6. One may think about passports, birth certificates, etc. being printed in state language.
