More than a 100 years old, the Mullaperiyar Dam which lies in the Kerala State is at the edge of getting collapsed any time.Tamil Nadu Government to which the Dam has been leased is ignoring the fact that if the Dam collapse, it would lead to the death of lakhs of people.
A part of Kerala state will be wiped off completely!The TN government are not willing to co operate for the buiding of a new Dam or take safety measures to protect the Dam.
The Dam has already outlived its estimated period of life.
Its a major question on the lives of lakhs of people.
