Proper upgradation of Rourkela Air Strip

Hi, I am Debabrata Mishra. I'm from Rourkela. I think according to my information, a group of some persons consisting of persons from Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Chief Air Traffic Controller (ATC) of Kolkata Internationl Airport and others visited the Rourkela Airstrip , somewhere nearly 2 years ago. They were very happy to see the airport and have suggested a few things for the upgradation of Rourkela Airstrip. I think they would have said that Air service to Rourkela will be resumed very shortly. But I think, till now proper upgradation of Rourkela Airstrip hasn't taken place. Even Rourkela Steel Plant hasn't handovered till now the Airstrip to AAI. Why Government is neglecting Orissa in most of the fields? Why the Government is not taking any serious action for the upgaradtion of the technologies of the Airports in India ? Why is RSP not interested in giving Rourkela Airstrip to AAI ??? It seems that Government of India is not serious about the development of Orissa. Let it be in case of Industries, Railways, etc. Orissa is still lagging behind the others, inspite of having numerous potential resources.I think making of Rourkela Airstrip from private to public Airport can help a lot of peoples.
