Conservation Agriculture is a fade

Recently, agriculture and farming industry is witnessing a new concept of Conservation Agriculture. They are defining it to be 'sustainable agricultural intensification'. Green Revolution was also about intensive farming only, and it has left us with so many bad side-effects in the long term. How can intensive practices be sustainable?

Many agri-scientists who worked decades ago for Green Revolution technologies are being roped in for consultancy, even after retirement. The new programs won't get too much benefit, with decades old mindsets and learnings of these people. What the industry requires is new ideas from new blood, which are sustainable and environmental friendly.

What we urgently require is a change in mindset, a change in approach and a willingness to listen to farmers and NGOs who are working to regenerate agriculture.
